Walking in Cornwall

There are so many fabulous places to walk in Cornwall.  We’ve provided a book of walks at the properties and here is a small selection to get you started.  This selection are courtesy of the  ‘iWalk Cornwall‘ team.

Make sure you’ve got good walking shoes, some water and the all important camera and you’re good to go!

Lelant to St Ives:  One of the first west Cornwall walks we ever did. Still one of my favourites.  I particularly love the train ride home!

St Ives: Beautiful but best done outside of the summer holidays as the town does get very busy.  Worth it at any other time.

Porthcurno to Penberth Cove: Lovely and a great way to discover a hidden gem (you just might spot it on Poldark!).  As for Porthcurno….All I can say is take your camera!

Marazion to Peranuthnoe: The view of St Michael’s Mount as it comes into view never fails to take my breath away.

Hayle and the Towans: Hayle and its beach gets so overlooked by its more famous cousin St Ives but  there’s so much to see here that in my view is actually better.  The miles of almost white sandy beach that are never crowded, even in August means its a gem I’m almost hesitant to say in public for fear of word getting out!!!

If you plan to do a decent amount of walking on your holiday in gorgeous Cornwall, then you might want to download  iWalk Cornwall app.  They have over 200 walks to choose from, so you’re sure to find the perfect one for you.
